Monica

Denise was our tour guide and she was amazing! Very animated and informative when telling us the historical facts of some of the tombs and people. She was very patient with our group and questions asked. I highly recommend this tour as it’s a part of history for New Orleans!

Definitely a place to go see if in New Orleans. You can only go in this cemetery with a tour guide. Our guide was great and we learned alot about the history of New Orleans, the process and rules of being layed to rest and the catholic diocese. Its absolutely beautiful and they encourage you to take pictures. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed learning the history, however we were rushed through the cemetery and did not get to truly enjoy the area. We were not allowed to venture through the whole cemetery, only the few areas our tour guide allowed and again very rushed. I would have much rather visited a cemetery that we could have explored throughly. Sadly, this was the downside of our trip and I do not recommend this tour.

My husband and I had an absolutely magical time here! Such an incredible place with the most beautiful architecture and such interesting history. We had the best tour guide, a French lady named Emi, who was so wonderful. It was particularly great getting to hear the correct pronunciations of all the French names on the tour in her beautiful accent. Even though it was about 30 degrees outside, we had the best time and it was absolutely worth braving the cold for this amazing tour. Hope we can visit again soon!
Mikel

Great historic tours for acceptable price. Our tour guide gave great historical backgrounds of many different areas. She was very knowledgeable and had a good passion. The tours almost as 15 minutes some places, but ours went an hour. Not sure if that was be design or she was long winded. But great sights and something worth seeing!

Taylor was great, very informative, knowledgeable! Been doing it for 4 years so he knows all the cool spots! Learned a lot about how burials were handled in the old days as well as the aftermath of Katrina. Many photo ops as well as time to wander on your own! Highly recommend Taylor!
